From brief to home

A home while repairs happen

One household. A familiar area. A stay that fits around the works.

Details in one place

The right home is more than a bed

A temporary address.
Not a life on hold.

Repairs may change the address. They shouldn’t make every other part of the day harder. These are the details we ask a claims handler to include.

Schools & routines

Tell us the school or nursery area and the journey that needs to stay manageable. We use this as part of the search, not an afterthought.

A separate living area for a temporary family stay

Room to return to normal.

A kitchen for familiar meals. Living space beyond the bedroom. Somewhere to settle while the next steps on the claim are worked through.

Clarity at each handover.

01

Before the booking

We work through the area, household needs, proposed dates and available homes. Costs and arrangements need approval before a placement is agreed.

02

At move-in

Clear arrival information helps the household know where they are going and how to access the home. Raise practical questions before the move.

03

While repairs progress

Keep us informed of changes to the works schedule. Extensions depend on availability and should be discussed before the current stay ends.

Accommodation referral

Start with the household.
We’ll take it from there.

For claims handlers, loss adjusters and housing teams arranging a temporary home anywhere in the UK.

Use a case reference, not a policyholder’s name. Please leave out medical records, policy documents and other sensitive information.

Availability, suitability, rates and billing arrangements are confirmed with you before a booking is agreed.

Placement questions

Before you refer.

Can you arrange accommodation for tonight?

Include ‘Tonight’ in your brief. We will need to check availability and suitability; preparing a brief does not reserve a home or guarantee a same-day move.

What should a claims handler include?

A case reference, search area, required dates, household numbers and practical requirements. Add your organisation and contact details. Leave out sensitive policyholder information.

Can you accommodate pets or access needs?

Include the specific requirements in the brief. Acceptance, access and suitability vary between homes and must be confirmed before booking.

What if the repairs take longer?

Contact us before the booked period ends. We can discuss options, but extensions are subject to availability and an agreed price.

Can we discuss invoicing and approvals?

Yes. Include your organisation and reference so billing requirements and approval arrangements can be discussed before any booking is confirmed.
