Start with the household
Record the number of adults and children, bedroom requirements and any pets. Use a case reference rather than sharing the policyholder’s name or sensitive documents in an initial enquiry.
Define the search location
Include the postcode to stay near and the journeys that matter: school, work, care or appointments. A radius alone may not reflect how the household travels.
Explain the dates and approval route
Give the required arrival date, an estimated stay length and the person who approves the booking. Where repair dates are uncertain, flag that uncertainty rather than assuming an extension is already available.
Confirm before committing
Availability, access, pet acceptance, parking, costs and billing arrangements need confirmation for the selected property. An enquiry is not a reservation.
